A site visit used to mean a drive, a parking spot and an hour on the clock before anyone knew what the job was. With a Vadio video call, the customer shows you the problem from their phone while you sit at your desk.

Why start with a video call

Most first visits are about looking, not fixing. A short call tells you whether the job is yours, what to bring and how long it will take, so the first trip out is the one where the work gets done.

“We used to drive out to find out we needed a different part. Now we see the fuse box before we leave the office.”

Before the call

Send the customer a link by text message. They need nothing else:

  • No app to install: the call opens in the phone’s browser
  • A reminder shortly before the time you agreed
  • A short note on what to have ready, such as the fuse box or the meter

During the call

Ask the customer to point the camera, and take photos and notes as you go. They are saved on the job, so nobody has to remember what was said.

After the call

  1. Turn what you saw into an offer while it is fresh
  2. Send it for e-signature from the same job
  3. Book the visit once the customer accepts
